Our pair of pygmy goats, Toby and Joe, live alongside the ostriches near the entrance to the zoo.
Pygmy goats have a four-chambered stomach which allow them to digest a huge amount of food!
Pygmy goats are classed as ‘Least Concern’ by the IUCN, which means that they’re not in danger of extinction in the wild.
The two pygmy goats live in the same habitat as our pair of common ostriches, Drummer and Mary. They are very adept at balancing and can be seen climbing on their structures built by our keepers.
You can find them near the entrance to the zoo, alongside the ostriches.
