Conservation Circle

Posted on: 9 October, 2024

We are on a journey to redefine what a modern zoo should be and have the unique opportunity to create a new conservation zoo at Bristol Zoo Project.

Our mission to save threatened species through dedicated international conservation actions and breeding programmes will be strongly highlighted at our site in South Gloucestershire. Here, we will focus on connecting visitors to our work through immersive landscapes that connect people to threatened wildlife, as well as inspire visitors and conservationists of the future.

We have recently launched our Conservation Circle, a Patron and Benefactor Programme which brings together like-minded individuals who are passionate about animals and conservation.

As a conservation and education charity working in nine countries across four continents, the generous support of philanthropists helps us to continue to deliver our vision of being a world-leading conservation organisation, weaving diverse mosaics of wildlife habitats with exceptional public engagement and formal education programmes.

The Patrons will receive a number of unique benefits for themselves, their family, and peers. This could include the opportunity to join our Conservation team, who work on-site, nationally and globally, to experience our conservation projects first-hand.

Animal experiences are also included in the scheme, as well as admission to a number of other UK zoos, invitations to exclusive events, including our annual Directors’ Dinner, and progress updates on Bristol Zoological Society’s conservation projects.

Those joining as Benefactors will benefit from a wealth of offerings for three years, including Life Membership.

As a globally renowned award-winning conservation and education charity, we have been dedicated to wildlife preservation since 1836, and there is no better time to support and join us here at Bristol Zoological Society as we deliver our vision to create a modern conservation zoo.
