We have four species of lemur at Bristol Zoo Project; Alaotran gentle, black-and-white ruffed, blue-eyed black and ring-tailed. Read more about our lemurs here.
Lemurs are the most endangered group of mammals in the world, and some species, including the blue-eyed black lemur, are classified by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) as Critically Endangered. We carry out critical conservation work in Madagascar to save these wonderful animals.
